Our mission at Embody Movement Studio & Lifestyle Boutique is to care for the community we live in, from the joy-based movement classes we offer and hand-selected items thoughtfully chosen for our boutique to our special concerts, workshops, and events. At Embody we strive to provide a warm, inviting, and safe space that enables individuals to move, nurture, and heal their bodies, minds, and spirits through joyful movement in community.

Nia® Barefoot Fitness

60 MINUTES

An emotional fitness odyssey, Nia is just plain exhilarating” – New York Times  Nia is a blend of healing arts, dance arts and martial arts.  With choreography based in the anatomy (The Body’s Way) and a strong FreeDance component (Your Body’s Way) it’s a unique mix of science and spirit.  Most of all, it’s just fun!  Love to dance?  Interested in feeling better through fitness based in joy?  This is the class for you!

Nia® Moving to Heal

60 MINUTES

Nia’s Moving to Heal class experience supports people looking for a gentle approach to Nia and for those dealing with a wide range of therapeutic issues from injury, trauma, grief, short-term to long-term illness.
Learn to slow down and personalize movement to fit your body’s way while focusing on the sensation of feeling better move by move, breath by breath. Improve feelings of wellness regardless of physical condition. Everyone welcome.

Yoga Level 1-2

60 MINUTES

Experience the fundamentals of yoga in this mixed level class designed for beginners and advanced beginners.  You will gain greater flexibility, build strength and experience deep relaxation through breathing techniques, stretches and basic standing and seated yoga postures.  Yoga props and modifications are offered for all fitness levels.  This is an excellent class for students newer to yoga and also great for experienced yogis looking to fine tune their practice.

Yoga Level 2-3

60 MINUTES

Deepen your practice in this mixed level class designed for advanced beginners to intermediate and advanced students.  In this class, you will delve into more challenging postures such as arm balances and inversions in a safe and supportive environment.  This class will encourage you to safely push your edge and take your practice to the next level.

Yoga Power Hour(Lunchtime Class)

60 MINUTES

This 50 minute class is specifically designed to maximize your lunch hour – sculpting your body, quieting your mind, and energizing your day.  In this class, you’ll jump right in to a vigorous warm up to get your body moving followed by postures designed to condition, tone, and sculpt your body.  You’ll wind down with deep stretching and a brief relaxation before making the transition into the rest of your busy day.

Gentle Restorative Yoga

60 MINUTES

A calming, stress-relieving yoga class to stretch and strengthen the body gradually. Emphasis is on building awareness of the breath and the body. Asanas are practiced at a slower pace with attention to alignment and detail. Recommended for all levels looking for a soothing, relaxing, and restorative experience, especially those newer to yoga or working with special concerns or injuries.

Barre Technique

60 MINUTES

Barre is a combination of ballet, pilates, and yoga that offers targeted muscle toning.
You will work legs, glutes, abs, and arms for a full body workout. Isometric movements combined with high repetitions tone, while stretching lengthens for a long, lean, strong body.
Set to an energizing soundtrack Barre will leave you feeling refreshed and strong. Excellent for beginners or more experienced movers. This class will meet you where you are and take you where you would like to go.

Tribal Belly Dance

60 MINUTES

Experience this captivating and empowering dance for women of all ages, shapes and sizes.  Dance to the music of powerful Middle Eastern drum rhythms that connect to the heartbeat, inviting you to move. Explore the beauty and power of Tribal Belly Dance and the Divine Feminine Self while you dance, play and connect in safe and supportive community.
